FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are some of the questions we regularly get at Little Orchard about our preschool, daycare, after-school care, and other childcare programs in Kaysville, plus some simple answers:

Our programs are open to children aged 3 years to 5 years old, with specific age groups for each program.  We offer a 2 days per week program typically for our 3 year olds, a 3 days per week program for 3-4 year olds, and a 5 days per week program which is usually for our 4-5 year olds!  There is definitly a program here at Little Orchard for your preschooler!
No, due to Utah State licensed Preschool regulations we can not provide meals or snacks while children are here at Little Orchard.  Class times are no longer than 3 hours which fits great for most children to not need a meal during that time frame.
Absolutely. Our staff undergoes thorough training and certifications to ensure they are qualified to care for children and provide a safe learning environment.
Of course! We welcome parents to schedule a tour of our facilities to see firsthand the quality of care we provide.

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Little Orchard Preschool. They’ve done an excellent job helping both my daughter and son build early reading skills, and we’ve been so impressed with the thoughtful, intentional way they teach. One thing that truly stands out is how well Ms. Michelle knows the children and their families. Despite having multiple classes, she knows every child by name and recognizes which parents or caregivers belong with each child at pickup. That level of care and attention makes a huge difference and speaks volumes about the environment they create. We are so grateful for this school and the loving, supportive community they provide.

We love Little Orchard Preschool! Our daughter enjoys getting to socialize with the other kids and the teachers have been great with encouraging her learning. She often talks about how excited she is to see Miss Kenzie, Miss Brynn, and Miss Courtney. We really appreciate Michelle, the manager, as well. I love this pre school and recommend it to everyone!! My daughter is already sounding out words because the reading program is amazing. I love that it’s so personalized to each child. Also My daughter was struggling last year with some OCD and miss michelle was amazing about it and so understanding. Love love LOVE this school! Sending my first born to preschool wasn’t easy for me, but this school eased every worry I ever had. My son was non verbal most of his life right up until school age, which made him become very shy around adults and other kids. I have seen him absolutely blossom at this school in every way and he adores all of his friends and teachers. Each day, he’s at school, he always comes home talking about “Mrs Michelle” and “Mrs Kinzey” and his movement teacher! I personally thank every kind soul in this facility who’s taken care of my baby as their own and helped him step out of his shell <3

My daughter has LOVED preschool because of the wonderful teachers at Little Orchard. They are so kind and genuinely excited to see the kids every day. The curriculum is also fantastic! Little Orchards is THE BEST!! My daughter has been thriving and learning so much in her few short months here. She loves her teachers, Miss Brynn and Miss Christie, but all the teachers I’ve interacted with have been so patient and kind. The best preschool ever. Miss Michelle is so helpful and so kind to all the kids. Miss Christie is my child's favorite teacher and she has learned so much from her. My youngest child attended this preschool for two years, and he absolutely loved it! He was always excited to go to school and then couldn't wait to show off what he learned. He made incredible progress and is now thriving in kindergarten, even excelling in his class. It makes me so proud to see how far he's come! Little Orchard has been a great choice for our daughter. I worked as a school counselor for years so choosing the right preschool for her was something I really stressed over. I sincerely appreciate that every time my daughter attends school she is greeted personally with a warm smile. Her teachers are patient, kind, and understanding. While education is very important to us, we are even more grateful for the fact that our little one has learned to love school. Little Orchard has set a wonderful foundation for her education.
