Little Orchard is like no other preschool. Not only do we teach the academic part of preschool we also help develop their motor, cognitive, social, interactive and independent skills. Brittany began her Early Education career in 2001. She has her degree in Child Development and is currently pursuing a degree in Family and Human Services. Brittany is certified in Montessori, CPR, First Aid and holds her National Administrator Credentials. Brittany has taught Kindergarten and Preschool for a non-profit school, where she focused on teaching at-risk students.
Brittany finds joy in teaching and caring for children. She loves to see children master skills and learn new things. She strives to keep Little Orchard an academic preschool by overseeing and adding to curriculum. Brittany enjoys supporting teachers’ efforts in helping to produce a preschool environment where all feels comfortable, welcomed, and needed.
Brittany is married to her best friend Eddie and they have two children that they adore. Eddie has joined Brittany at Little Orchard full time and together to work to serve the staff, families, and children at Little Orchard Preschool. In her free time, she enjoys cake decorating, camping, weightlifting, and trying new things.
Megan brings a wealth of experience. She has served in various capacities within the childcare realm, from her years with the Salt Lake school district, where she made a direct impact in the classroom, to her more recent role as a preschool Director, where she guided and shaped the educational journey of young learners for five years.
Married to her high school sweetheart for 29 years, Megan‘s committed to her family as a mother of three adult children and a Nana to six grandchildren. She cherishes spending time with her loved ones and creating memories.
Outside of work, leads her to the great outdoors. Whether she’s camping or hiking in the beautiful Utah mountains, she finds inspiration and peace in nature. Additionally, her love for baking, allows her to express creativity and bring joy to those around her.
Megan‘s dedication to children is evident in her numerous certifications, including NECPA, SBS/AHT, CDA, and adult and pediatrics first aid/CPR. She continually seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge and stay updated on the latest practices in early childhood education, completing numerous courses through accredited IACET providers.
Mrs. Maddie has had a lifelong love for children and teaching since growing up as the oldest of six children. She has a degree in Fine Arts and is currently working on a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has a special place in her heart for 4-6-year-olds and watching their worlds open up as they learn. She has worked for Little Orchard Preschool since 2021 and has loved getting to form a connection with each child who has enrolled here since then.
Mrs. Maddie is deeply dedicated to creating a safe and happy learning environment for every child who comes through the doors of Little Orchard. She is passionate about the Montessori Method and child-lead learning. Her goal is to help guide children to be independent, creative, and excited to learn. She is guided by Montessori who said "The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn."
Outside of school, Mrs. Maddie enjoys painting, drawing, reading, being in nature, and hanging out with her two cats. Mrs. Maddie is married to her best friend and soulmate, Jake. She is so passionate about her job and is thrilled to be able to spend this school year with us as director!
Mrs. Andrea has had a passion for education from a very young age. When her sisters wouldn’t sit still to be her students, she would teach her stuffed animals instead. She is thrilled to bring that passion to the Little Orchard in Farmington.
She earned her associate degree in education and is now taking a break to fulfill her roles as a mother and director. She has two children, and through raising them, she has developed a deep desire to understand each child’s unique perspective. Since joining Little Orchard in 2023, she has truly enjoyed coaching children through difficult emotions and situations.
Mrs. Andrea spent a year in the reading classroom, where she developed a strong passion for teaching young students their letter sounds and how to read. Seeing them grow emotionally and intellectually fills her with immense joy. She believes that growth, love, and compassion are the foundations for children to gain confidence.
In her spare time, Mrs. Andrea enjoys time with family and friends, crafting, organizing, event planning, paddle boarding, time in the sun, decorating, remodeling, and learning new things.
