Our 5-day, Pre-Kindergarten program is great for someone looking for a more involved preschool everyday. We have a Kindergarten curriculum that we are confident will ensure your child is ready for Kindergarten. Included in the program is: our amazing reading program, math program, Montessori style works, circle time, art, science and more! This class will still get to go to our gym everyday to work on large motor gross skills. Just like our preschool program this Pre-Kindergarten program is 100% locked down from the public as well.
What are your class sizes?
Each class has 12 students.
Do kids take off their shoes?
Yes just for Movement. Please send your child with shoes they can easily take off and put back on by themselves.
What is your teacher to student ratio?
We have a 1:12 teacher to student ratio
Do you keep all doors locked during preschool?
During school hours we keep the doors to the classrooms locked at all times. Parents who need to enter the school must notify management in advance.
What days are you off?
We follow the Davis School District calendar.
What time can I drop off and pick up my child?
Due to COVID-19 we have given each class a 10 minute window to come to and from school. We ask that you stay within that window as its important as we try to minimize exposure.
What is the late fee?
We charge $5 for every 10 minutes you are late picking up your child.
Are your teachers CPR certified?
Most of our teachers are current and certified on CPR and First Aid.
Do you accept children that are not current on their immunizations?
Immunizations required unless waiver from the Utah Health Department is provided.
Do you background check your teachers?
Yes, all of our teachers have passed a national criminal and sex offender background check and drug screen.
How often do you sanitize everything?
We sanitize our entire ball pit often with our ball cleaning machine.
Do you go on class field trips?
Due to COVID-19 we are suspending field trips this year.
Do you have class parties?
Yes, we have a Halloween, Christmas, Valentines and End of Year class parties.
Do you have programs?
Yes, we offer two programs, one at Christmas time and one at End of Year.
Do you do Scholastic Book orders?
Yes, we send home a Scholastic book order every month. This is totally optional.
When is the tuition due?
Tuition is due by the 25th of the month prior.
What is the registration fee for and is it refundable?
The registration fee holds your child’s spot for a specific class. However, it is non refundable.
Are children expected to be reading by the end of the year?
Although most children are reading or close to reading, nothing is expected of any child academically. If children are ready, then we provide the materials to help them read. However, every child is different and every child learns at a different pace.
Does my child have to be potty trained to attend preschool?
No, if your child is not completely potty trained, simply put an extra change of clothes in a ziplock in their backpack. If your child has an accident we will send them in the bathroom with their change of clothes. If the accident can’t be taken care of with just a change of clothes, we will call you.
Can anyone pick up my child?
No, we have an authorized pickup list. We will not release a child unless the adult shows ID and is on the child’s authorized pickup list.
Is homework mandatory?
No, homework is not mandatory, although, it can help a child progress faster if school work is done in the home.
Do you serve snacks?
No because of allergies and time away from academics we do not serve snacks.
